Caseville 2

Caseville II Regatta
US F18 North Region Championship
Caseville, MI
July 14th-16th, 2017

Check and see who has pre-registered HERE

We love it so much we're coming back.  Its now pretty much a given that we'll hold a three day regatta at Caseville, and this year is no different!  Caseville is special to us because it's the perfect catamaran sailing venue. A huge beach with smooth soft sand, clear warm water, and close access to the campground. All catamarans are invited to join us for one of our favorite weekend regattas!

VENUE

Caseville County Park on SR 25 just north of downtown Caseville (map here). Phone (989) 856-2080.

DIRECTIONS
Take SR 25 North from Bay City to Caseville. Park entrance is across from the Dairy Queen on the lake side of the road.
Case

ACCOMMODATIONS
This is the peak of the summer holiday season, so you've got to plan ahead. We strongly encourage you to register ASAP!

Camping
Group camping had to be reserved early this year.  If you weren't able to reserve with the CRAM group in late February, there are other options available at several nearby state parks including Sleeper State Park & Port Crescent State Park. Huron County Parks also has a few campsites in the area - in fact you can check the Caseville site to see if they have any other non-CRAM sites available. These parks will fill up early as well, so don't take them for granted as a fall-back position.

Hotels
Finally, if camping with your good friends is simply not your thing, that's OK - we didn't want you hanging with us anyway! (Just kidding) - there are several hotels within a short drive from the park (map here). Reservations are on your own and will likely fill up quickly.

Manistee

Manistee Regatta
August 12th & 13th, 2017

Check and see who has pre-registered HERE

CRAM is excited to announce the addition of Manistee to our 2017 regatta line-up. The coast of Manistee offers a second visit to Lake Michigan and fifth big lake venue in one season. We certainly hope that this scenic little vacation town will become a regular addition for seasons to come.

LOCATION

From US 31, head west on 1st street. Take the first right in the round-about near the lakeshore, and pass the boat launch. The CRAM designated area is the large field on the right, past the pavilions.
 Manistee Location

VENUE
On the South side of the mouth of the Manistee River lies Douglas Park and a perfect beach to host a regatta within a breakwater. Racing will be held on Lake Michigan to the north of the channel.
manistee launch area

ACCOMODATIONS
Camping
Both RV and Tent campers are welcome to join us right in a 1.5 acre section of Douglas Park right next to our launch site. Whether camping with us or not, come join us for a group campfire in the evening.

If you’re not looking for the rustic sailing & camping experience there are other campgrounds in the area including Orchard Beach State Park located 10 minutes away.

Manistee has many hotels, motels, and Bed & Breakfasts to choose from in the area including the Lake Shore Motel within walking distance from Douglas Park. For a full list and contact information see the map here.

Hosted by the Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce, Grapes on the River is an event that pairs local cuisine and Michigan wine. This event hosts live entertainment, while relaxing in the park at the Manistee Municipal Marina overlooking the Manistee River in the heart of Downtown Manistee.
