UP, here we go again! CRAM's first-ever regatta site in the Upper Peninsula is quickly becoming a favorite and returns to the schedule once again! Now don't be too alarmed! It's about as close to the Lower Peninsula as possible, with the campground located near the Carp River just north of St. Ignace. Reddmann's Sleepy Hollow Campground is a hidden gem. Barbara Reddmann has been running the campground for years with the help of her children and has graciously allowed us to host our event. Our only ask is to please be aware that Barbara lives on-site and we should (as we always are) be polite and respectful guests.

CURRENT CONDITIONS (and FORECAST)
ACCOMMODATIONS
CAMPING - IMPORTANT!A set number of sites have been put aside for us. That does not mean we cannot go over that number. Please call Barbara directly and reserve with her. It's worth noting that she only accepts cash or check. There are only a few electric sites, so if you will, please try to prioritize these for RVs. We can run extension cords from there or ask a friend to plug into his/her coach. The campground has nice vault-style toilets, however, there are no shower facilities. Water is available at the well; please leave it dripping to keep the prime. Please, no driving or parking in the middle field. If it's been a dry summer, we can store boats there, but please no parking or driving in any circumstance.

Non-electric: $15/night
Electric: $20/night
HOTELS
St. Ignace is just 15 minutes away, where there are plenty of hotels/motels to choose from.
The beach is of soft sand and small rock (much better than the Google screenshot appears) and is well protected based on the prevailing winds. Water levels are down this year, so the beach is even bigger. The lake is still plenty deep in the bay, but not too deep for anchoring the RC boat and marks.
Trailers and vehicles not associated with camping should be stored just west of the campground office.
HOSPITALITY
Get ready for a shrimp boil! The Harts are hosting a Low Country Boil which includes shrimp and sausage as well as potatoes, corn, and other small fixings. If you'd like to join in, the cost is $10. Please bring your own dishware and plasticware if you don't want to eat off the (covered) table. We are going to try something a little different. The idea is to schedule the boil for the evening with the best weather or what is most conducive for sailing. Hoping for added flexibility. The other night you will be on your own.

Fisherman's Landing & Campground is excited to be host us again this fall for our second anual trip. They are well versed in hosting events such as fishing tournaments, and while the owners always like bringing in something new to downtown Muskegon, hosting a competition is right up their alley. Muskegon lake is known for almost always having wind even when Lake Michigan does not. Combined with minimal waves for being an inland lake this should offer some very exciting racing!

BOATS & TRAILERS
The beach should be ideal for launching. Trailers are recommended to be kept on your campsite, provided there is room. Otherwise, trailers will be parked along the northern edge of the campground. Trailers are not be be parked in the boat area and there is a tree overhanging the road to the beach. Please unload your boat and move it to the boat area with beachwheels before stepping your mast.
CAMPER & NON CAMPER INFORMATION
The campground has a strict 2-vehicle per campsite policy. Vehicles not associated with camping should try to pair up with a camper that only has 1 vehicle on their site. The Campgroup will have individual gate codes per campsite, so it would be best for commuters to function as a guest of someone who is camping. If you only plan to have 1 vehicle on your campsite please volunteer to host a commuter. If no additional parking is available please park in the boat ramp parking lot outside of the fence.
CAMPING
Reservations are made by calling the campground directly. Sites are not specifically reserved, but mention that you are with CRAM and when they pick sites they will do their best to group us together. Please make you reservation as early as possible to ensure you get a spot. A one-night deposit is due at the time of reservation and within the week preceding you will get a pre-check in call to pay the remaining balance and any add-ons as well as go over the park rules. The campground is offering CRAM sailors late checkout, but please try to be packed up and out around 4 PM on Sunday.
30 Amp: $38
The waterfront sites are those along the Western and Southern edged of the campground. RVs and Trailers only on the waterfront sites. Pull-through sites are denoted by an arrow. 50A sites are denoted by a circle around the number. Tent-only sites are 6 Eastern sites adjacent to the parking lot numbered 64 through 74. Our host have recommended that tenters reserve a 30Amp site which will provide more space for vehicle & trailer parking, and to be closer to the beach. A second sleeping tent or sleeping tent in addition to an RV/camper trailer is $10 a night. Pets are allowed, but please review the Pet Policy
