Location

Always a staple of the CRAM Schedule, North Cape Yacht Club is located on the western shore of Lake Erie about 7 miles north of the Ohio border. We always expect a good turnout from our Detroit, Ohio, and Canadian friends due to the central location. The clubhouse is beautiful and has a full-service bar, showers, and restrooms for our use. The beach is flat and has very easy access for the boats.

Accommodations

Camping

The club allows us the use of the grass apron on the left side of the road after you enter the gate at the entrance to NCYC. There is plenty of room for both tents and RVs. RVs should be backed in and not parallel parked. Camping registration includes use of the clubhouse showers and restrooms. Use generators sparingly at night.

Hotels

There are a number of hotels options in nearby Monroe to the north, or in Toledo to the south.

Beach

Trailers can be parked on the beach, but should be kept closer to the grass areas where the sand has been compacted.

Venue Guidelines

Have fun. Party at the clubhouse. Fires at the fire pit on the beach. Pets are welcomed.

Hospitaility

We are doing a potluck dinner on Saturday! CRAM is supplying hotdogs, burgers and buns. Please bring a dish to pass AND your own table service.
