Location

If you enjoy crystal clear water and a beautiful campsite setting, then this is the place for you. Superlatives can't do Higgins Lake justice. 9900 acres of protected crystal clear water, a well-kept wooded campground, and easy access to the highways. This is one fantastic place to sail.

Accommodations

Camping

South Higgins Lake State Park includes 305 acres, 512 modern campsites, picnicking, an excellent boat launch, and most importantly, more than one mile of sandy beach. We typically stay on the west side of the campground, in the sites at the north end of the middle loops. Boat setup and launch area are immediately north of the camping area. Boat commonly access the beach through the gap between sites 363 and 364 so the majority of participants will camp near these sites.

Motels

There are some small motels in the area about a 15-20 minute drive from the venue.

Hospitaility

Back by popular demand, we will have our traditional chili cook-off on Saturday! It's never to early start testing and perfecting those recipes! If not bringing chili, please bring a dish to pass, salads, or desserts.

Please try to bring your own camping dishes and cutlery to help cut down landfill waste during the event. Don't forget your beverages!!
