Nothing! You can bet our members will come together to piece together everything you need. Saying that, here are some items if you'd like to proactively dress for success:
- A lifejacket/PFD is mandatory
- CRAM members typically have various sizes on the ready, but grab it if you have it!
- Sailing gear - wet suits, dry suits, whatever keeps you comfortable
- Depending on the weather, just a swimsuit might be fine!
- ProTip: a quick-dry longsleeve shirt and pants to cover your knees tend to be more comfortable
- Sunglasses and/or hat for the spray and sun
- ProTip: bring a way to tie it to yourself so it doesn't end up in the lake!
- Shoes that can get wet and have grip
- Anything from old sneakers to wetsuit booties!
- Water! Water! Water! Stay hydrated!
- Sunscreen!
- No experience required!
- By signing up here you will be added to a list our members can browse and reach out to you if they are in need of crew.
- In the comment section above please provide a detailed description of your sailing experience and what you are looking to get out of your next sailing adventure!
- No fee for crew members!
- Though our CRAM skippers pay a registration fee for each event, crewing is always free
