The Official 2024 CRAM Common NOR covered all events for the season. Further event-specific and registration information is available below. In case of discrepancy, the NOR takes precedence.
Grand Lake is new territory for CRAM, but certainly not outside of where our member come from. Located in North West Ohio, we're going to begin the season a little further south to get the season started. The 13,500 acer lake is roughly 8 miles across by 3 miles wide. Hosting of this event is split between Grand Lake St. Marys State Park for camping and & beach launch location, and hospitality & race committee support are provided by the near by St. Mary's Boat Club.
Accommodations
Camping
Grand Lake St. Mary's State Park, which also features our boat launch area is located near the northeast corner of Grand Lake. Reservations can be made through the Ohio DNR. Sites 1 through 70 would be the preferred location for sailors to be close to the launch area.
There are a number of hotels in the St, Marys and Celina areas within a 10 minute drive of the venue.
Beach
Trailers are to be disconnected in the cul-de-sac at the end of the southern campsite road of the campground. From there they are the be pushed into the grassy area behind the beach. Once rigged boats can be kept on the beach.
For those with heavy trailers, such as double stacks, that cannot be pushed easily please try getting a site near by to keep your trailer at. The campground offers limited overhead obstructions and even rigged should be fairly easy to move a a boat on beach wheels to the beach area.
Hospitaility
In addition to providing race committee support, the St. Mary's Boat Club has offered to host our Saturday night group dinner. Bring your appetite for a pork chop and baked potato dinner with sides and deserts. Please purchase your meal on this page by the early registration deadline to ensure we have a proper head count.
